(movie) REVIEW: Ghostbusters

Just came home from the cinema which means: yeah, another crappy review. I hope you know that when I do reviews I just want to talk about the movie I just saw, not about the good or bad qualities the movie had in a cinematographically speaking way.

Anyways, I just saw Ghostbusters which was a film I was so desperately waiting to see. Though it has 73% of rotten tomatoes, here in my country it wasn’t so popular apparently because it’s only been two weeks since the release and there was only one function at 11pm

Honestly I don’t understand why because it was AMAZING. It was so funny and great and it makes me so happy that it got such good reviews and critics because people (white men probably) where trying to sabotage it. I also know before coming out they were criticizing the special effects of the movie but let me assure you they’re pretty great. And not only they were not happy about the protagonists being woman and the special effects of the movie but they also bullied Leslie Jones up to the point where she had to leave twitter. How mean can people be to bully a woman for being in a movie and criticize her about her skin color and body? That is so sick! Leslie was amazing in the movie and definitely made me laugh a lot, honestly she was a highlight.

I’m going to be honest, I watched the other ghostbusters but never kind of got into it. I did like the catchy song though. When I heard they were doing an all woman remake I got really interested and even more when I found out Kate McKinnon was going to be there because I love her a lot, she’s so funny and cool. She was so good in the movie making all the audience laugh with everything she did.

Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig were also amazing along with Chris Hemsworth who I was also glad to see in the movie, he made me laugh a lot, besides being Thor I think he should also focus in comedy because it suits him.

In conclusion if you haven’t watch it go and do it because you will laugh and you won’t regret it. There are some awesome appearances of the original cast too so that’s a plus.
